Heliosera

Heliosera ("we", "us") provides job site management software for Australian builders. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Depending on how you use Heliosera, we collect:

Account details — name, email, phone, company and licence information you provide when signing up.
Business data you enter — project, schedule, quote, invoice, and compliance-document data for your business, contractors, and clients.
Files you upload — insurance certificates, licences, contracts, photos, and site diary attachments.
Payment information — if you enable online payments, card details are handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
Usage data — basic device and log information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

We use this information to provide the core product — scheduling, compliance tracking, quoting, invoicing and the client portal — and to send transactional emails (compliance alerts, quote and payment notifications) that you or your contractors and clients have triggered through normal use of the app.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the Australia (Sydney) region, including Amazon RDS (database) and Amazon S3 (file storage). Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito. Transactional email is sent via Resend, and optional online payments are processed by Stripe.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. Information is shared only with the service providers above (strictly to operate the app), with contractors and clients you explicitly invite into a project or send a document to, and where required by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or export most of your data directly within Heliosera under Settings → Data & Privacy. You can request full export or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — see below.
